Just a Templar knight overlooking the city of Jerusalem and contemplating the future...

This was done as another project for my Watercolor 1 class. The assignment was a little (intentionally) vague, but basically we were supposed to use a bunch of different pictures and put them together to form some kind of cohesive whole. Some people did more surreal things, and others added objects to a base references and other things like that. I ended up using about eight different references to put together this particular picture. And then I made up a bunch of other things (like color scheme) because I always do that. It took a good while to finish it; I was probably at work on it for about of month of class time, mostly because it's a lot bigger than my usual pieces. Anyway, enjoy!
