Calligraphy pens, india ink, water color-pencils, gold (not really) ink, pencil
Took roughly 6 hours to do
My mom bought me some calligraphy materials for Christmas and I really wanted to try it out. So this is the first "illuminated" thing I've ever done, but I'm rather pleased with how it turned out.

benedíctus frúctus
véntris túi, Jésus.
Sáncta María,
Máter Déi,
óra pro nóbis peccatóribus,
nunc et in hóra
mórtis
nóstrae.

(Got that from Wikipedia. And in Latin it should be "Iesus" not "Jesus" but I chose the latter because I can do more tings with a J than an I.)
That's the order how it's written on my picture.
For this I used a more round "Celtic" kind of style of writing.
So if you have critiques, shoot!
