The scene fits perfectly with the heartfelt stories I treasure of this saintly couple I love (since I was named for her! Saint Elizabeth of Hungary!).
Have you read the book? I refer you to: SAINT ELIZABETH, SISTER OF SAINT FRANCIS by Elisabeth Von Schmidt-Pauli, Translated from the German by Olga Marx, Published in New York by Henry Holt and Company, Inc. and Copyrighted, 1932. It is a gift to have this book on one's bookshelf.
No, I don't believe I have read that book. My twin sister loves St. Elizabeth of Hungary (she's going into nursing too!) so it'd probably be a book she'd love!
And, to be honest, I cannot understand it at all. Maybe because I am not an artist.
I love it. Absolutely.
I am not religious, but this is the best works I have ever seen mixing love and sainthood.
(Pls excuse my English, it is not my native language)
But thank you!
Very beautiful and sweet! I love this couple: an arranged royal marriage where the bride was raised with her future husband that truly became a love match. You didn't see that very often!
AWESOME WORK & EXCEPTIONALLY WELL DONE!!!
